Birth of the Cosmos

Out of the yawning void, the first gods rise, and the first betrayal is born.

From the gaping emptiness of Chaos emerge Earth, Night, and the oldest powers of the cosmos. Gaia brings forth the starry sky Uranus and unites with him to bear the Titans, until his cruelty drives her to arm her son Cronus with a sickle. The first rebellion topples the first king, and the wheel of divine succession begins to turn.
