Themis is the Titaness of right custom and the eternal order of things, who sits beside Zeus as his counsellor and once held the oracle at Delphi before Apollo. Mother of the Seasons and the Fates, she is the steady principle that gods and mortals alike must not transgress, justice older than any throne.
