A quest for a golden fleece is won by a sorceress's love, and lost to her vengeance.

Sent by his usurping uncle to fetch the Golden Fleece, Jason gathers the greatest heroes of the age aboard the Argo and braves clashing rocks and deadly trials to reach Colchis. There the sorceress Medea's love wins him the prize through magic and betrayal. But the alliance is poisoned, and when Jason casts her aside, her revenge becomes a catastrophe that cannot be contained.
