Odin

Odin, the All-Father, rules Asgard as god of war, wisdom, poetry, magic, and death. He trades an eye at Mimir's well for wisdom and hangs nine nights on Yggdrasil, pierced by his own spear, to win the runes. He drinks the mead of poetry, wields the spear Gungnir, and rides eight-legged Sleipnir, flanked by ravens Huginn and Muninn and wolves Geri and Freki. From Hlidskjalf he sees all worlds. He gathers slain heroes into Valhalla as einherjar, hoarding warriors for the day he must face Fenrir at Ragnarok.
