Hodur

Hodur is a blind god of the Aesir, brother of the shining Baldur. When Baldur becomes invulnerable and the gods amuse themselves by hurling weapons that cannot harm him, Loki discovers the one thing that was never sworn to spare him: the mistletoe. Loki shapes it into a dart and guides the sightless Hodur's hand, and Hodur, suspecting nothing, throws it and kills his brother. Because the gods may not shed blood in their sanctuary, vengeance falls to Vali, a son Odin fathers for the purpose, who slays Hodur. After Ragnarok, Hodur and Baldur return together to the renewed world.
