Vili

Vili is a son of Bor, brother to Odin and Ve, and one of the three who shape the world. The brothers kill the giant Ymir and raise the cosmos from his corpse, lifting the sky from his skull and setting four dwarves to hold its corners. Walking the new shore, they find the ash Ask and the elm Embla, two driftwood logs, and breathe life into them as the first man and woman. Odin grants spirit, Ve grants the senses, and Vili grants wit and motion, the will and reason by which every human choice is made.
