Isis

Isis is the great mother and mistress of magic, the cleverest of the gods. When her husband Osiris was murdered and dismembered by Set, she searched all Egypt to gather his scattered body, bound him back together, and with her wings beat breath into him long enough to conceive their son Horus. She hid the child in the marshes of the Delta until he was grown to claim his throne. By trickery she even learned the secret name of Ra and seized his power. Healer, mourner, queen, her cult spread across the whole Greco-Roman world.
