Fall of Troy

After ten years of war, a single cunning trick brings the great city to ash.

With Achilles dead and the walls of Troy unbroken, the Greeks turn from force to deceit, building a great wooden horse and feigning retreat. The Trojans haul the offering inside their gates, and by night the warriors hidden within unbar the city to the returning fleet. Troy burns, its royal house is butchered or enslaved, and the survivors scatter to wander the world.
