Aeneas is a prince of Troy, son of the goddess Aphrodite, and one of the few defenders to survive the city's fall. As Troy burns he escapes with his aged father Anchises on his back and his small son at his side, bearing the household gods to safety. Fated to found a new line, his wanderings carry the seed of Rome westward across the sea.
