The Minotaur
A king's broken vow breeds a monster, a maze, and a myth of engineered horror.

When King Minos keeps a bull meant for sacrifice, Poseidon curses his queen Pasiphae with desire for the beast, and she bears the Minotaur. The master craftsman Daedalus builds the Labyrinth to cage the monster, fed on a tribute of Athenian youths. Imprisoned for his role, Daedalus fashions wings to escape, and watches his son Icarus fall from the sky.
