House of Atreus

The royal house that will lead Greece to Troy is already rotten with sacrilege and revenge.

House of Atreus

The line that produces Agamemnon and Menelaus is poisoned from its founding by Tantalus, who feeds the gods his own son, and by Pelops, who wins his bride through betrayal and a dying man's curse. The brothers Atreus and Thyestes carry the feud to monstrous extremes, culminating in a father unknowingly devouring his own children. From this cursed soil rise the kings who march on Troy.
