Orestes

The curse of a cursed house comes due, until vengeance itself is finally put on trial.

Orestes

Agamemnon returns triumphant from Troy only to be murdered in his bath by his wife Clytemnestra and her lover, in revenge for their sacrificed daughter. His son Orestes, commanded by Apollo, returns to avenge his father by killing his own mother, and the Furies hound him to madness for the crime. At last a court convened by Athena acquits him, ending the cycle of blood with the rule of law.
