Tisiphone is one of the three Erinyes, born from the blood of wounded Uranus, and the avenger of murder. Snakes coil in her hair as she scourges the guilty with her whip and brandishes her torch. She stands eternal guard at the gates of Tartarus, hounding the souls of the damned.
