Dionysus

The twice-born god offers rapture to those who welcome him, and madness to those who refuse.

Dionysus

Born from fire when his mortal mother is consumed by Zeus's glory, Dionysus is sewn into his father's thigh and born a second time. He wanders the world spreading his rites of wine and ecstasy, blessing his followers with divine frenzy. Those who deny his godhood, like the doomed king Pentheus, are destroyed by the very rapture they scorned.
