Huginn

Huginn, whose name means Thought, is one of Odin's two ravens. Each dawn he and his brother Muninn fly out over all the worlds, and at breakfast they return to perch on the Allfather's shoulders and whisper into his ear everything they have seen and heard. By them Odin earns the name Raven-God. In the Grimnismal he confesses his fear that they may not come home: he frets for Huginn, but more for Muninn. Through these black scouts the one-eyed god learns the secrets of the nine realms while sitting in his high seat Hlidskjalf.
