Tartarus
The deepest abyss of existence, a primordial void and prison for the Titans.
Tartarus existed before the world itself, a bottomless pit as far below Hades as the earth is below the sky. It served as the prison of the Titans after their defeat in the Titanomachy, and later as the place of punishment for the most wicked souls, Tantalus forever hungry, Sisyphus rolling his boulder, Ixion bound to his wheel.
