Pyrrha is the daughter of Epimetheus and Pandora and the devoted wife of Deucalion, the most righteous woman of a doomed age. She survives the Great Flood at his side in their ark, and together they become the parents of a reborn human race. Following the oracle's riddle, the stones she throws over her shoulder rise up as women, repopulating the empty world.
