Ptah

Ptah is the creator god of Memphis and patron of craftsmen, sculptors, and builders. The Memphite Theology credits him with making the world by conceiving it in his heart and speaking it into being with his tongue, thought and word giving form to all things. He is shown as a mummiform man with a tight skullcap and a straight beard, gripping a staff that joins the was, ankh, and djed pillar. His high priest bore the title "Greatest of Craftsmen," and his name lies behind the very word "Egypt." His consort is the lioness Sekhmet, his son the lotus god Nefertem.
