Leto is the gentle Titaness who wins Zeus's love and pays for it with Hera's relentless wrath. Hunted across the earth while heavy with child and forbidden to give birth on any solid ground, she at last finds refuge on the floating isle of Delos, where she brings forth the twin archers Apollo and Artemis. Her suffering becomes the price of two of Olympus's brightest gods.
