Garden of the Hesperides
A paradise at the western edge of the world, where golden apples grant immortality.
At the far western edge of the world, where the sun set beyond the ocean, the Hesperides, daughters of Atlas, tended a garden of golden apple trees. The apples granted immortality to the gods who ate them. The dragon Ladon coiled around the tree, ever watchful. Heracles was sent here as one of his labors to steal the apples, and it was here that he convinced Atlas to retrieve them.
