Elysium
The paradise of the Underworld, eternal home of heroes and the blessed dead.
Elysium, or the Elysian Fields, was the section of the Underworld reserved for those favored by the gods and the heroic dead. It was a place of perpetual spring, feasting, and joy, the closest the Greeks imagined to an afterlife of reward. The Isles of the Blessed lay even beyond, for those reborn three times as heroes who earned Elysium each time.
