Hecate is the shadowy goddess of magic, ghosts and the places where three roads meet, holding power over heaven, earth and the underworld alike. Torch in hand, she alone hears Persephone's cry during the abduction and guides Demeter through the dark. Honoured at every threshold and crossroads, she is the keeper of boundaries between the living and the dead.
