Niobe

Son of Zeus and the mortal Antiope, twin of Zethus, and co-ruler of Thebes. Gifted with a lyre by Hermes, Amphion's playing was so perfect that stones moved of their own accord to form the walls of Thebes, a city built by music. He married Niobe, and their life together was the height of mortal happiness until her fatal pride in their fourteen children brought Apollo and Artemis to destroy everything he had built.
