Bow of Apollo

Apollo's silver bow was a weapon of divine precision and terrible consequence. When he wished to punish mortals, he loosed his arrows like shafts of sunlight, bringing plague or sudden death. When he favored them, his arrows could inspire prophecy and art. Niobe's fourteen children were slain by his arrows and those of his twin Artemis when she boasted her children surpassed the twins of Leto.
