The Stymphalian Birds are a flock of ravenous creatures with bronze beaks, claws, and feathers they shoot like arrows. They infest the marsh of Stymphalia, devouring crops and men alike. For his sixth Labor Heracles startles them aloft with Athena's bronze rattle and shoots them from the sky.
